A folding kayak is easy to transport and store. This collapsible kayak is make of fabric that is stretched over an aluminum frame. Folding kayaks are expensive but they have a long life. Although they are tough, stable, flexible, and sea-worthy, they lack the speed and performance that you can find in a hard shell kayak.

The most portable kayaks are the inflatable ones and they are the easiest ones to store. IF you want a cheap kayak, then choose the inflatable one.
